At the intersection of form and function, Mahog works on the frontiers of sculpture and designer furniture. The two large vertical volumes, connected only at the bottom, reveal a gap between the totemic aspect of these forms. By taking advantage of the characteristics of each material, such as the intriguing jute rope accent, handmade by the designers themselves and inspired by the artisanal work of indigenous Brazilian peoples, this piece of furniture synthesizes a thought and creative strategies that use aesthetic matrices of diverse natures in the creation of these pieces.
